President - Chris Bogue
Chris is Technical Services Manager with over 20 years experience in oil and gas. He is also the co-founder and director of a local adventure racing company providing events for community member within the summer months. He believes there is need for a great ski area within our community and that it is important for our city and everyone that enjoys the sport.
Chris has been on the board for 5 years and this is his third season as a passionate president. He can be found anywhere on the premises performing tasks with quick execution and long stories.
Vice President - Dean Peters
Dean started volunteering at the resort in 2015 and has been a board member for 8 years after joining the Canadian Ski Patrol. When not on the slopes patrolling he spends time assisting with maintenance of the T-bar and tow rope. He is the head Ski Patroller and can often be found wearing a red CSP jacket.
Secretary - Sheldon Gallagher
Sheldon is a school principle in Lloydminster and has enjoyed Mount Joy since moving here 10 years ago. His passion is cycling. He rides mountain and gravel mainly and switches to his fat bike when the snow flies.
This is Sheldon’s second year as treasurer and has been on the board for 3 years. He enjoys spending time on the slopes and helping out.
Treasurer - Anna Shorte
Anna has a Business Degree with a Major in Management from a university in Ireland. She is a Senior Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner and Personal Financial Planner at one of the financial institutions in Lloydminster and has been in the financial services industry for the past 10 years. She is originally from Poland and moved to Canada in 2012 along with her family: husband Jason and son Phillip. During the off season, Anna enjoys running, camping and traveling.
This is her third year on the board, second as treasurer. During open season Anna is usually found helping out in the chalet.
Director - Alison Hazzard
Ali enjoys her time with also being on the board of the Lashburn Sportsplex, and the social committee of Legacy Regional Protective Services where she used to serve as a firefighter. Ali was a firefighter for 10 years with starting out as a first responder 3 years prior.
Ali is a big part in the health and safety program for the resort. She has been on the board for 6 seasons, before that she helped out at the hill as a ski patroller and medical first responder.
Director - Tyler Wilson
Tyler is a firefighter with the Department of National Defense in Wainwright. As a dad with 3 of his kids into skiing they have been regulars for quite a few years.
This is Tyler’s 2nd year on the board although he has been a member of the ski patrol for 3 seasons.
Director - Stuart McPhee
Stuart has called Lloydminster home for the past 8 years, along with his wife and 3 boys. Stuart is a firefighter with the City of Lloydminster, and when he isn’t working, he is often busy being a dad.
This is Stuart’s second season on the board. During open season he can often be found in the rental shop.
Director - Crystal Wakefield
This is Crystals first year on the board although she has been an active volunteer. Crystal is heading the concession this season.
Non Voting Member - Wanda Hansen
Wanda is a RAPID Neurofascial Reset specialist, registered massage therapist and certified equine therapist working at The Roots Of Wellness in Lloydminster (she travels to location for animals). She moved to the area fall of 2019 with her son.
This is her 4th year year on the board (or actively involved with) and enjoys helping out in rental shop at the front desk during open season. Wanda likes to help with the software and other behind the scenes jobs.
