Many Smiling Faces Learn at Mount Joy

This past weekend, many local people (within a wide variety of ages), enjoyed The Joy Ski and Snowboard School or private lessons at Mount Joy Snow Resort. The local snow resort, only 20 minutes SW of Lloydminster, was sold out as many people enjoyed the lovely weather and learning experience from the ski and board instructors.

This upcoming weekend (Saturday, February 6th and Sunday, February 7th) many of these lessons will continue as Mount Joy Snow Resort is seeing an increased demand for instruction. Although the snow and weather conditions haven't been the greatest, the snow resort has been able to keep Strawberry Hill and the tow rope open, which is a fun run for those beginners, or even those who want to try out the jumps at the terrain park.

Again, this upcoming weekend, Strawberry Hill and the tow rope will be open, where lift passes and rentals will be 50% off (no pun intended - you will get both skis - but at half price). Plus, they will continue to serve affordable warm food and tasty treats at the chalet.

The weather forecast is looking good this weekend, with lower temperatures, a mix of sun and cloud, and a 30% chance of snow. See you at Mount Joy Snow Resort this weekend!
